Job Responsibilities and Requirements
Class Prep & Support
- Set up ingredients, tools, and student place settings before classes.
- Restock supplies and assist during classes when needed.
- Help students with basic tasks as directed.
-Snap in progress pictures of students during class.
Studio & Kitchen Cleanup
- Wash dishes, sanitize surfaces, and clean both the studio and kitchen after each class.
- Sweep, mop, and take out trash to maintain a clean, safe workspace.
- Ensure the kitchen is reset, organized, and ready for the next use.
Retail Assistance
- Greet and assist walk-in customers in our retail storefront.
- Package baked goods, label products, and restock displays.
- Organize back stock and manage light inventory tasks.
Requirements
- Must be 17 years or older.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Must be available most weekends and weekday afternoons.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment.
- Must be open to occasional late evenings (especially after 6-9 PM classes).
Dress Requirements
-IJAC T-Shirt given at on boarding. We sill supply your first two. You may purchase extra with employee discount.
-Clean jeans free of holes or tears.
-Non-Slip shoes (Health department rules)
-Hair must be pulled up and hat worn. (Health department rules)
-No facial jewelry of any kind. Only small studs can be worn in ears. (Health department rules)
-No bracelets or necklaces can be worn in kitchen. (mainly weekends this will be enforced)
-Nails must be trimmed and clean. No fake nails. (Health department rules)
-No unnatural colored hair. (Examples: Bright neon colors or dark unnatural colors: Blue, purple...etc.)
-Must practice good hygiene consistently. (We are a food establishment. We reflect cleanliness in all areas of buisness.)

- Simple manners and respect.
- Interest in baking or teaching is a bonus, but not required.
