About the event
Mushroom Macaron Class

Students may bring a drink, an apron, and a light jacket (the classroom can get a bit cold at times).
In this class, students will learn how to properly pipe, fill, assemble, and decorate these whimsical standing mushroom-shaped French macarons. Each student will pipe enough shells to make up to 9 large macarons. Our It’s Just a Cookiestaff will handle the baking portion so students can focus on the fun parts (and stay safe).
While the macarons are baking, Rachel will demonstrate how the infamous macaron batter comes together and share the tips and tricks needed to master this famously temperamental cookie.
Once the shells have cooled, students will receive their baked macarons and begin filling, assembling, and decorating. Students will also learn creative filling combinations and professional assembly techniques.
